Summit Water Resources welcomes Project Hydrogeologist Darby Scanlon to the team in Portland. Darby is a geologist licensed to practice in Washington, Oregon, and California. He has a wide range of experience in hydrogeology, data science, geographic information systems (GIS), and three-dimensional (3D) modeling. Coding languages he is knowledgeable in include Python, R, Julia, SQL, and LaTeX. He is proficient in the use of ArcGIS Pro (including DEM and LiDAR processing), Petrel, Kingdom, Spotfire, and PowerBI. Learn more about Darby here.
Darby received his master’s degree in Geology from Portland State University and bachelor’s degrees in Environmental Resource Management and Geology, with a minor in Occupational Safety and Health from California State University, Bakersfield.
