Summit Water Resources Principal Geochemist Brad Bessinger, PhD, RG, is co-organizing an inaugural Geochemical Modeling Conference, scheduled for fall 2024 in Washington D.C. The conference will focus on the latest developments in geochemical modeling, from computational tools to environmental applications. C.A.J. Appelo and David Parkhurst, the founders of PHREEQC, will teach a geochemical modeling course. Co-organizers include S.S. Papadopulos & Associates, GSI Environmental, Summit Water Resources, University of Nebraska, and ObjectiveGeochemistry.
